Properties of PPS:
1) outstanding chemical resistance
2) effectively no moisture absorption
3) Machines to firm tolerances
4) outstanding substitute to PEEK at low temperatures
PPS products put forward the broadest opposition to chemicals as compared to any other sophisticated engineering plastic. These products are known to have no known solvents below the temperature of 392°F (200°C) and put forward inertness to the following:
1) steam
2) strong bases
3) fuels
4) acids
Extremely low moisture absorption and an extremely low thermal expansion linearly, united with strain relieving processes, turn these PPS products into a product which is perfectly suited for accurate tolerance machined parts. In addition to this, PPS products show signs of excellent electrical features and are essentially flame retardant.

Different from ordinary reinforced PPS products, Techtron PPS products are effortlessly machined to high tolerances. It is perfect for structural uses in corrosive surroundings or as a PEEK substitute at low temperatures. The color of PPS developed by Techtron is off white. This grade is lubricated from inside and compression molded PPS reinforced with carbon fiber offer a low thermal expansion coefficient and uncompromised chemical opposition. Thus serves as a better product as compared to PEEK.
